What is the Center Point Church Relaunch?
As we transition from Church Under The Big Top and back into our building, we believe God is preparing us to take a step of faith (like we did with the tent) and believe God wants to use the people of Center Point to have a greater impact in our community to see more lives transformed by the power of Jesus Christ! This Relaunch involves a change in Sunday Schedule as we move back into our building and continue to keep our focus on Bringing Jesus to the Center In Presence, Purpose, and Power.
What Is the Biggest Change?
Starting Sunday, November 1, we will be moving to 2 SERVICES! One from 9:00AM to 10:00AM and a second from 10:30AM to 11:30AM with 30 minutes of Coffee and Connect time between the services from 10:00AM to 10:30AM.
Will there be nursery, preschool and children activities?
YES! There will be nursery (Ages 0-2) and preschool (Ages 3-5) for both the 9:00AM and the 10:30AM Services. There will be CP Kids (K-4th) and CP Kids (5th-6th) during the 10:30AM Service only. Kids are also always welcome to remain with their parents.
Why the Change?
We took a bold Holy-Spirit directed step in putting up this tent. With the leading of the Holy Spirit we are taking another exciting step of faith to reach our community for Jesus Christ!
We have grown during our time under the Big Top and we know there are more people Jesus wants us to reach, love, and introduce to Jesus.
Our passion is to bring Jesus to the Center in Presence, Purpose, and Power! And we want more people to experience the amazing things happening at Center Point.
How Can I Help?
We want you to be a part of God using Center Point to impact our community and the best way to do that is to join one of our volunteer teams!
These include Nursery, CP Kids, Clean Team, Prayer Team, Tech Team, Hospitality Team, First Impression Team, Usher Team, Worship Team, and Growth Groups!
If interested at exploring your options, Click HERE on the JOIN A TEAM link on the Center Point App or website. Fill out the form and someone will contact you.
How does this change benefit those who serve?
A huge benefit to this change is that everyone who volunteers to help during one service will be able to attend the other one. Everyone will have the opportunity to be in at least one service every single week. Serve One. Attend One.
What About Growth Groups?
Some maybe wondering about Growth Groups: Still very important to us. A place where relationships are built and where deepening discipleship takes place.
To accommodate the two services, all growth groups will take place in the evenings. For now, we have the Men’s and Women’s Bible Studies, but we fully intend to add more as we have the volunteers to do so.
Will masks be required?
In order to allow the maximum number of people in our community feel welcome and safe to attend our services, we ask that face coverings be warn as much as possible. We recognize it is difficult for some to wear masks for extended periods of time so some may opt to remove them once seated. While this is not our recommendation, you will not be bothered or treated differently if you decide to remove you face covering when seated. We do ask they be worn whenever moving about the building or in close proximity (under 6 feet) to others. Those who are medically unable to wear face coverings are exempt. While we want everyone to prayerfully consider how wearing your mask will help others concerned about their own health to feel more welcome at Center Point, we want the focus of our time together to remain on Jesus and the unity we have in the Gospel!
